A Summerville native and 2006 graduate of Trion High School, Catherine Farrar Jackson joined Farrar & Corbin, P.C. as an associate in the fall of 2013. Catherine attended college at the University of Georgia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration in Finance in 2010. After college, Catherine attended law school at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude in 2013.
While in law school, Catherine received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in the classes of Property Law, Legal Writing II, and Wills & Intestate Succession. Also during law school, Catherine clerked for a litigation firm in Macon, Georgia as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chattanooga, Tennessee during the summer.
Catherine practices in all areas of civil law, with an emphasis in residential real estate, personal injury such as car wrecks, and probate matters, both drafting last will and testaments, powers of attorney and guiding clients through the probate process upon the death of a loved one. She also acts as guardian ad litem in juvenile court.
Catherine is a member of the 2016 Leadership Chattooga Class and serves as a local committee member for the Chattooga County Boys and Girls Club. She is also involved in various community service activities through the Junior Service League of Rome, where she is a member of the board.
She and her husband, Chris, attend the First Baptist Church of Rome where she is on various committees.
